Today we are going to discuss urine Infection signs that you need to check regularly to avoid any serious condition in your urinary tract.

Urinary tract infections are one of the most common bacterial infections in humans. When people get a UTI, bacteria has spread to their urinary tract and causes an inflammation that makes them feel sick.

Urinary tract infections can be uncomfortable and painful, but there are some warning signs you should look out for that indicate when something might not be right with your body. Here are five signs to watch for if you think you have a UTI:

You Have a Fever

A fever is one of the most common signs of a urinary tract infection, and it should not be taken lightly. Fever can cause other symptoms as well, such as fatigue, chills, sweating at night, sneezing/nasal congestion, nausea, and diarrhea; if any of these are occurring alongside your fever, it is time to speak with your doctor.

Urinary Incontinence

If you have trouble controlling your bladder and are leaking urine, this could be a sign of a UTI. It is important to note that urinary incontinence can also be caused by other things such as menopause, childbirth, or obesity, so it is not always indicative of infection; however, if you have any other symptoms as well, it would be wise to speak with your doctor.

Urgency and Frequency

If you go to the bathroom more often than usual and feel like you have to go right away, this could be a sign of a UTI. Similarly, if you are experiencing pain or burning when you urinate, this is also indicative of an infection.

In addition, if you are getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, this could be a sign that you have an infection. UTIs can cause people to wake up frequently because they need to go to the bathroom, and when they do, it is painful or uncomfortable.

Your Urine Has a Bad Odor

Urine typically has no odor; however, if it does and smells like ammonia or fish (chlorine-like), this can be a sign of an infection. If you notice your urine is cloudy instead of clear, dark yellow, or full of bubbles that look like foam – these are all signs of an infection as well.

When bacteria multiply in the urinary tract, it can change the smell and appearance of your urine if you are concerned about how your urine smells, be sure to mention this to your doctor.

You Have Lower Back Pain

Lower back pain is another common symptom of a urinary tract infection. When the bacteria that cause UTIs spread to the kidneys, it can cause inflammation and pain in this area. If you are experiencing any other symptoms such as fever, urgency, frequency, or burning when you urinate and have lower back pain, this can be a sign that you have an infection.

Conclusion

If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms, it is important to see your doctor and get checked for a urinary tract infection. UTIs can be easily treated with antibiotics if caught early, so don’t delay getting help if you think something might be wrong.
